Baby Wipes

We ran out of baby wipes the other night and instead of hopping in the car to make a
Target run, that would end up costing me way more than the 1 box of wipes I went for, I decided to make my own. I haven't done the math but, I'm pretty sure my box of 100 only cost me a little over a $1. Plus, the best part is I know exactly what I am putting on my baby's tushie. No bleach, ammonia, or chlorine! It was super easy.
A few products, a roll of paper towels and a container for storage. I recycled my old wipe container but, you could use any plastic storage with a lid. The hardest part was pulling the cardboard out from the middle!

I encourage you to make your own. It was so easy! I should of done this a long time ago! Like 2 babies ago!

Giant Snowman

It has been snowing here for a couple of days now. While it is pretty to look at
I absolutely HATE the snow. It's too much work. The kids running in out. My baby who wants to be out with his sisters but, really shouldn't. Little puddles of water everywhere that I step in with fresh dry socks. Ugg! This is how I feel about the snow.

The good news is that Lance was off yesterday so, he was on snow playin duty. He and the girls built an awesome snowman. The best I've seen on Holly LN yet! I'm glad the girls got to spend time with their Dad and make some good memories. Crea is so proud of their work.

The snowman was heavy leaning yesterday we'll see how long he stays up! More snow on Sunday then on to Spring! Okay, wishful thinking!

Yum!

I'll just say the banana bread was more popular than the pork roast. Maybe
it was the chocolate chips!

On The Menu

Today is off to a good start. My girlfriend came by this morning with her daughter. We
had some coffee while the girls jumped on the trampoline. Now on to dinner. This is
what the Davis crew will be eating tonight: Pork Roast with Mashed Potatoes and Salad.
I'm going to make the Curious George Banana Bread for dessert and add some chocolate
chips for fun. Sounds yummy to me! I'll let you know how it turns out.
Looking forward I have Beef Stroganoff, Chicken Pot Pie and Home Made Pizzas
planned for the rest of the week.
I'm always looking for new recipes to try. Feel free to share any good ones! Keep in mind
I like fat and butter.

Curious George

Yesterday I took Crea, Abby and Ericson to see Curious George
at our local library. It was a good time and everyone had fun.
They got to make Curious George masks, color pictures and take a
picture with him. Abby was scared so she waved and said "Hi"
from a safe distance. Crea was a little nervous too but, eventually
got close enough for a picture. We checked out a Curious George movie
and got McDonalds for lunch. A very nice afternoon I must say! If you
don't already, you should take advantage of your local library. They often
host fun events and storytimes for the children. My kids have yet to
be disappointed. Plus, it's FREE fun and that is hard to come by these days!
